Summer Camp

Camp FAQs

Below are some frequently asked questions about our summer camp programs. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Should my child bring lunch and snack?
Depending on your location of interest will depend on whether you need to pack a lunch and a snack for your child. Specific information is listed under each location so that you will be able to understand what is expected of you when you child comes to our camp.  However, a majority of our locations will ask for you to pack lunch and snack for your child each day. We are a peanut aware camp so please let us know if your child has any allergies. The only time you do not need to bring lunch or snack is if you register in the Handwork Day Camp Afternoon Program from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. We will provide tap water for your child if you do not want to pack bottled water.
Does my child get to spend time outside?
Yes, for our summer camp, at most locations we have access to outside facilities. Weather permitting, we try to get the kids outdoors for snack, lunch and a recess period.
If I need to get a message to my child, where do I call?
You can call our headquarters in Narberth at (610) 660-9600. They have access to all the Site Directors and Lead Instructors and will get the message to your child.
Can I send my neighbor to pick up my children from camp?
You can inform us of anyone other than a parent or guardian who you would like to pick up your child(ren). However, you need to instruct us in writing on our Camp Pick-Up forms. Each person picking up your child will be required to show us ID the first time.
Do you allow the kids to use cell phones?
Campers can not use their cell phones during class time. However, they can check their text messages during break times.
Can my child go home with another child after camp?
Yes, as long as a note is presented that morning to the Lead Instructor.
Are your facilities air conditioned?
Yes, in the summer.
