Fiber Arts

Get ready to experience a universe of incredible colors and textures as we go on a journey through the wonderful world of fiber arts.  Yarn, fabric, threads and fun all spun together make up this camp.  After just one week, your child will create marvelous handmade crafts that they’ll be proud to give as gifts, display as forever keepsakes or use in everyday life. From knitting to felting to embroidery to weaving, campers will learn a variety of fiber art techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Come back every week for a new theme and new projects!

Sew Tech

Creativity is more important than ever in today’s world. Sew Tech Camp is where we spark the development of well-rounded, highly critical thinkers who are capable of turning their ideas into a tangible reality. In an environment where creative thinking can flourish, campers will learn how technology and science blend together to make innovative and fun projects. With LED lights flashing, motors whirring and sewing machines stitching, campers will use science, technology, engineering, art and math to fuel incredible art—like smart accessories and light-up apparel—by harnessing the power of circuitry. Spa Crafts

Studio Name: Art

Fizz, bubble, POP!  Escape to Spa Camp this summer and learn the art and science of wellness and self-care. Spa science will include properly and safely blending ingredients like essential oils, herbs, dried flowers and other natural and organic ingredients to create fizzy bath bombs for soaking, scrubs for exfoliating and lotions for moisturizing. Campers will craft unique accessories like water bottle holders and scrubby mitts and learn relaxation techniques to transport themselves into calmness. Whether that’s making bath bombs for soaking or holding the tree pose, campers will love concocting their own products and gain a deeper appreciation for taking care of themselves.

Creativity Time

Crafts, giggles, stories—oh, my!  This summer, your child’s imagination will light up as we read exhilarating stories, play energizing games and craft amazing creations. Each day, campers will have a blast making new friends and will feel confident, proud and excited with every high five and “good job!” moment, knowing they are mastering new skills. Woodworking

What do you call a piece of wood with nothing to do? Board! Not at this camp! Have fun while learning the practical and timeless craft of woodworking. Your child will use traditional hand tools to create a range of projects, from toolboxes to small pieces of furniture that can be put to use. This weekly camp is where every child learns to use their hands in a constructive and fun way. Hey—have you heard the “under construction” joke? It’s not done yet. Does your camper have what it takes to become the next Harper Lee? Do they have a knack for spinning fantastical tales that are just waiting to be captured?  Then they’ll love filling in the blank pages of their soon-to-be-published book with stories developed from their imagination.  

But we’re also keeping a mega secret! This highly engaging camp incorporates a research-based curriculum that is standards-aligned. Our project-based format promotes literacy skills, where campers will gain increased reading and comprehension, build their vocabulary, presentation, and critical thinking skills. Still, we know the big win for our budding authors will be seeing all their hard work turned into a “published” glossy hardcover book of their story to display proudly on the bookshelf with other legends of the pen.

Prop Building

Fashion Bootcamp (2 week program)

Calling all fashionistas! Does your child dream of being the next great fashion designer or just want to have creative ownership of their style? Indulge their passion for fashion through this Boot Camp, where they’ll learn how to design, create and produce their own clothing line. This three-week course will teach fashion sketching, how to choose and work with a variety of fabrics and materials to get the right look, proper and safe use of a sewing machine and how to construct their designs. Throughout the week, campers will explore clothing development, design their own collection, shop for their materials and, of course, create a runway show as a finale. Many campers benefit from taking our Fashion & Machine Sewing Camp prior, but no experience is necessary to strut right in.

Glamorize Your Doll

Get set for some serious fashion fun! Glamorize Your Doll Camp inspires campers to create impressive on-trend clothes and accessories for their very own 18-inch doll. Campers are invited to bring in their 18-inch dolls to be a part of the unforgettable fun and collaborative experience. Campers will learn the fundamentals of hand sewing, embroidery work and even receive an introduction to the sewing machine to make costumes, outfits and accessories for their dolls. Quiet on the set! Great television and theater start with inspired set design—from your favorite Netflix show to Broadway’s Hamilton. Design Your Own Amusement Park

There's nothing more exhilarating than a trip to the amusement park. Now those fantastic rides and games, the sights, the sounds and the smell of cotton candy and popcorn can come right from your child's imagination with the Design Your Own Amusement Park Program. Campers will learn to build small-scale amusement park rides and games that we all know and love using materials such as our cardboard kits, tape, motors and lights. During the week, kids will explore engineering concepts, such as structure and balance, while learning how to use simple machine components and circuitry to design and construct their amusement park.
