Week 1  - Pom-pom Headband 
Learn how to make a fun Pom-Pom headband from our own Miss Alisha using one of our favorite techniques...Finger Knitting! You'll need to know how to make a pom-pom for this project. You can learn how to do that by clicking here.

Week 2 - Fuzzy Knitted Belt
Make a fuzzy knitted belt and use as an accessory for an everyday outfit or make a special one to accent your Halloween costume! Whatever the purpose this project is a must-make!

Week 3 - Learn How To Use the Wonder Knitter
Did you get a Wonder Knitter in your goodie bag this summer at camp? If so, Ms. Alisha reminds us how to get started on a project using the Clover Wonder Knitter. This cool tool will help you make amazing knitting projects or join us this fall for class as Miss Alisha and all our wonderful teachers make a wonder knit chain scarf! Don't have a wonder knitter? Week 4 - Learn How To Finish a Project Using the Wonder Knitter

Week 5 - Make a Spooktacular Eye Patch

This week, Ms. Alisha shares directions on how to make your very own eye patch. With a few simple steps, you can finish this project just in time for your hauntingly good time on Halloween! Week 6 - Learning to use the Kumi himo loom
Follow along as Ms. Alisha will show you the Japanese art of Kumi himo braiding using the Kumi himo loom.  You'll need a loom and some yarn or floss to complete this project and make a necklace, bracelet, or keychain!

Week 7- Tie a Balloon Knot
This week Ms. Alisha will teach us how to tie a balloon knot. This is a great way to easily and securely end all of your hand sewing and embroidery projects. It's also good for ending some knitting and crochet projects as well.

Week 8 - Needle Carrying Case
This week Ms. Alisha will teach us how to make a quick and easy needle carrying case for sewing on the go!

Week 9 - Thanksgiving Day Turkey
This week Miss Alisha shows us how to make a Thanksgiving  turkey The Handwork Studio way!  Caution!  Total silliness included.  May not be appropriate for serious adults!

Week 10 - Intro to Crochet
This week Miss Alisha shows you how to begin her favorite craft...crocheting! She'll introduce you to the crochet hook, show you some sample pieces and then walk you through how to start your crocheted piece!
 
Week 11 - Single Crochet
This week Miss Alisha shows you how to do a single crochet. This is the next step in crocheting to build on to the chain stitch we learned last week

Week 12 - Our Favorite Book
This week Miss Alisha shares with us one of the many wonderful things on our "Favorite Things" list at The Handwork Studio. This week she reads us "Bea Rocks The Flock" by Victoria Jamieson. 

Week 13 - Blanket Stitch
