Summer 2012 will be our first summer partnering with the Madeira School in McLean, Virginia. We are so excited to be welcomed to this beautiful school!

The Madeira School’s campus is situated on 365 acres, nestled in a forested area, and consists of expansive green lawns, charming colonial-style buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. Although the campus is peacefully secluded, it is located just 11 miles from the heart of Washington, DC. Madeira is an all-girls’ school with day school or boarding options and hosts about 300 girls from 27 states and 16 countries, fostering a diverse and globally conscious student community with which The Handwork Studio is proud to share the 2012 camp season.

We look forward to offering our Handwork and Machine Sewing & Fashion Camp programs at the Maderia School this summer.
