This summer will mark our first year partnering with the Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia, where Miss Alisha and Miss Julia will spend a week hosting Handwork Studio camp during their second annual Road Tour.

The Flint Hill School was founded in 1956 and is a co-ed day school for grades PK-12. In 1986, the school was granted non-profit status and in 1990 it opened a new and improved campus, allowing for expansion of the campus as well as the student body. Further and more extensive construction for an upper school took place in 2001 with the building of a new state-of-the-art athletic facility, new classrooms, a music department and theater, and computer science labs. Together, the two campuses have a total of 230,000 square feet of classroom and program space on 45 acres of land, including an expansive athletic compound, a student environmental garden, as well as academic and administrative buildings. 

We look forward to visiting The Flint Hill School and offering our Handwork and Machine Sewing & Fashion Camp programs.
